I love creating my own painted papers and using color, texture, line, shape and layers to build something I couldn’t have imagined at the beginning. A tiny scrap might become the focal point. A beautiful section might disappear beneath another layer. A mark I almost cover up might suddenly become essential.

For me, collage is part painting, part problem solving and part detective work. Most of all, it’s a way of seeing differently. It makes me slow down, look closer, stay curious and leave room for the unexpected.
